Chiropractic Success Story
Kestyn Johnson"Chiropractic adjustments helped my daughter have regular bowel movements and helped her overcome acid reflux and allergies."
My name is Jessica Johnson. I brought my daughter, Kestyn, to Chiro One to see if chiropractic could help with her difficult bowel movements, acid reflux and allergies. The Principal at the school I teach (Primary Academic Center in Markam) recommended Chiro One to me and I’m really glad she did! I was skeptical at first, but willing to give it a try. Especially since my Principal had a similar problem with acid reflux.
When Kestyn was born, she didn’t have a bowel movement for the first ten days. She was extremely uncomfortable and colicky and she had a tough time breast feeding. She was diagnosed with acid reflux at two months old and I was told that she was allergic to cow’s milk. Kestyn was put on a special formula that cost nine dollars a day and I was told for her first year that she wasn’t allowed any soy, milk or dairy products. The GI Specialist that I took Kestyn to also said she would probably be on meds for her acid reflux forever.
Kestyn was three months old when I brought her to Chiro One. After a couple months of chiropractic care, Kestyn was having regular bowel movements, was off her special formula (which is saving me tons of money!) and now she has no allergies to milk or dairy. After nine months of care, she was a normal baby.
Dr. Jeremy uses an activator and Kestyn doesn’t mind the adjustments at all. She hardly ever gets sick and has never had an ear infection even though she’s surrounded by other kids at the daycare center. If she does get sick, she gets better a lot quicker. Kestyn is now 23 months old and is doing great!
I’m really happy to have found Chiro One. I’m a single mom working two jobs and getting here (Chiro One of Flossmoor) isn’t always easy. They schedule Kestyn for their last appointment and work with me on hours. Coming to the chiropractor is also cheaper than the expensive formula, meds and doctor’s visits that Kestyn used to need.
