About the Doctor
Dr. Rosalind Ogunsola, D.C.
A Chicago native, Dr. Rosalind Ogunsola, D.C., is affectionately known as Dr. Roz. Passionate about patient care, she is thrilled to serve as the chiropractor director of Chiro One Wellness Center of Lansing.
Dr. Roz completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in community health and has a master’s degree in public administration from Governors State University in University Park, IL. She also holds her doctorate of chiropractic from National University of Health Sciences. Following graduation, Dr. Roz completed a rotation at the Veterans Affairs Illiana Health Care System, where she was able to adjust her first pregnant patient. Her true passions include women’s health and chiropractic.
Prior to attending chiropractic school, she served as health education director for a social service agency on the Westside of Chicago. During her time here, she was seeking to do more for than provide health education for pregnant women and infants. A colleague suggested she look into chiropractic medicine, especially for the pregnant women who were experiencing back pain. After some research, Dr. Roz decided chiropractic was for her and her vision has come full circle. Today she is able to educate, as well as provide chiropractic adjustments to pregnant women and their children.
Dr. Rosalind completed two global health trips to Nicaragua and Haiti, providing medical care to individuals in the poorest countries in the western hemisphere. Dr. Roz shared, “At times, I was not able to communicate via spoken word, but the power of touch was understood. Some people had not been seen by a doctor their entire lives and the opportunity to give an adjustment for back pain or soft tissue work for aching muscles so they could get back to their activities of daily living was priceless.”
In her free time, Dr. Roz is a community health educator and gives monthly health talks to men, women, and children. Her specialty is women's health and prenatal care. She also loves to do missions trips, providing care to individuals abroad. Her goal is as a physician is to cater to individuals physically, mentally, and spiritually; as well as enrich the lives of the people who seek medical attention.
