Dr. Matthew Frahm, D.C. grew up in Merritt Island, FL just a few miles north of Cape Canaveral, home to NASA’s Kennedy Space Center and the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. Dr. Matt remembers running to the local park to watch shuttle launches as a kid, sometimes even feeling the windows rattle in their frames on the days he stayed home. A true Floridian, Dr. Matt grew up loving watersports, like surfing, fishing, boating, water-skiing and anything that would help him cool off.
Now, Dr. Matt calls Pewaukee, Wisconsin home, where he moved to be closer to his wife’s family. It’s also where he opened a clinic in Brookfield, started his own business and eventually became part of the Chiro One family. Now, he’s thrilled to continue serving patients and community members as our chiropractor at Chiro One of Delafield.
Dr. Matt’s own relationship with chiropractic started in the spring of 2001, when he was involved in a severe motorcycle accident that almost took his life. Fortunately, Dr. Matt suffered no broken bones, but the accident caused an extreme misalignment of his spine, which resulted in a lot of pain. After months of severe pain and a litany of doctors’ appointments, painkillers and physical therapy, Dr. Matt’s condition only seemed to worsen. Finally, a family friend introduced him to chiropractic, and he was able to begin his healing journey. The turnaround was miraculous, and he found himself out of pain and in amazing health.
Dr. Matt earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of Florida in nutritional sciences, and inspired by his own experience with chiropractic, went on to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic—where he was valedictorian. He is certified in both nutrition and physiotherapy. His favorite part about being a chiropractor is equipping others with the mindset and tools they need to work toward better health and transform their lives. For him, it’s all about each patient’s story and helping them become the best version of themselves. This drive and dedication to his work has resulted not only in numerous chiropractic awards, but his election of official team chiropractor for the 2012 U.S. Olympic Wrestling Team in London.
In practice, it’s Dr. Matt’s personal mission to bring hope, health and healing to those who are sick and suffering. This is something that trails over into his free time; he’s volunteered at Dream Center LA, helping those struggling with homelessness, addiction and abuse recover in a healthy and productive way, and he’s very active at his local church. In his spare time, Dr. Matt loves spending time with his beautiful wife and daughter, engaging in watersports and exploring the great outdoors.
