Illinois native, Dr. Stephanie Schroeder, D.C., is thrilled to be serving Chiro One Wellness Centers of Rockford as chiropractic director.
After completing her bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in psychology on full academic scholarship, Dr. Stephanie earned her doctorate of chiropractic degree from Northwestern Health Sciences. During her graduate studies, Dr. Stephanie was a teaching assistant in the radiology department and was also active in many clubs including Motion Palpation, Women in Chiropractic, Pediatrics and Sports. Her internship was at a pediatric and pregnancy-focused clinic.
A longtime patient of chiropractic, Dr. Stephanie started care she was nine years old. She was originally seen for a shoulder injury but stayed a patient to maintain her health. Her entire family is under chiropractic care, including the family dog.
A philanthropist at heart, Dr. Stephanie is involved in Service for Sight, the American Lung Association, Wounded Warriors and the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation.
In her free time, Dr. Stephanie can be found enjoying the great outdoors—running or walking her dogs in local forest preserves. She also likes working out, riding her bike and hiking on the weekends. When she’s indoors, she’s usually watching sports and cheering on her favorite teams.
