After growing up in a small town in Ohio, Dr. Sean Stewart, D.C., spent some time down south, but always knew he’d end up back in the friendly and hard-working Midwest. Dr. Sean is thrilled to be serving as associate doctor at Chiro One Wellness Center of Wheeling, fulfilling his mission to spread the power of chiropractic and a wellness-based lifestyle.

A longtime patient of chiropractic, Dr. Sean began to see the benefits when he was very young. A competitive and passionate athlete during his school years, he found that chiropractic helped him recover from a low back injury sustained in 6th grade. He went onto play high school football and during his regular adjustments, Dr. Sean realized chiropractic was the career path for him.

After receiving the President’s Merit Scholarship, Dr. Sean started his college career at University of Dayton with a double major in pre-physical therapy and pre-med. Once he completed his prerequisites, Dr. Sean transferred to Life University in Marietta, Georgia to finish his bachelor’s and doctorate of chiropractic degrees. During his time at Life University, Dr. Sean was an active member of the Full Spine Club and developed his skills in Diversified and Gonstead techniques. He also traveled to the Dominican Republic on a mission trip to share chiropractic care with underprivileged communities.

Dr. Sean loves to see his Chicagoland and Wheeling patients reach goals they never thought possible, and is grateful for the opportunity to treat and improve people’s lives through chiropractic.

In his free time, Dr. Sean enjoys spending time two mastiffs and he also loves to work out and play sports. And he’s an avid Buckeye fan—and especially likes cheering on their football team. Dr. Sean is inspired by Zig Ziglar’s quote, “You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great!” This reminds him that if you want something in life, you’ve got to go get it.
