Neck pain is one of the top four most common sources of pain in the United States, affecting an estimated three quarters of Americans at some point in their lifetime. Many people live with neck pain for years and years, trying pain medication, muscle relaxants, injections, surgery and more.
Many times, these treatments only mask the pain and don't get to then underlying cause. Chiropractic is a conservative, drug and surgery-free option that has been shown to reduce pain more effectively than medication.
Severe Neck Pain for Over a Decade
"I had been having severe neck pain alongside limited range of motion on and off for 10 to 15 years. I would also experience a burning sensation over my right shoulder blade, radiating across my lower neck. In 2014, the pain was so bad that I could barely turn my neck without severe pain.
Over the years, massage was my "go to" treatment, but in the end, massage wasn't even helping. I remember that my mom had seen a chiropractor in the 80s and had experienced immediate relief. I didn't really have a strong opinion of chiropractors or chiropractic one way or the other, but at this point, I was desperate to try anything.
Since starting chiropractic care, I am now pain-free and have full range of motion. I am more aware of my posture and overall condition of my health and well-being.
Learning about chiropractic and health has totally changed my thought process. I believe because of my chiropractic treatment, I feel much better overall and will continue to be successful in my health.
