Celebrate St. Patty’s with Green Juices
Known as a more indulgent holiday, St. Patrick’s Day can be a lot of fun. It can also leave you feeling not-so-great the next day. Get that spring back in your step tomorrow with some of these delicious (and nutritious) juicing recipes. If you missed yesterday’s post on some juicing tips and tricks, ask your Chiro One team member if he or she would print one out for you!

A couple of things to remember:

  • If you can’t buy everything organic, follow the Dirty Dozen, Clean 15 rule 
  • Peel any items that are not organic
  • Each recipe makes roughly one serving.
Green Juicing Recipes

Popeye’s Punch

  • 2 cups spinach
  • 1 green apple
  • ½ orange
  • ½ pineapple

Clean & Green

  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 4 celery stalks
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 apple

“Mojitos”

  • 1 bunch of mint
  • 2 cucumbers
  • 1” slice of ginger
  • 1 lime
  • 1 cup spinach

Jolly Green Giant

  • 4 kale leaves
  • 4 Swiss chard leaves
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 2 small limes
  • 1 cup green grapes
  • 2 Granny Smith apples

Green Ginger Lemonade

  • 4 kale leaves
  • 1 green apple
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 lemon
  • 1" slice of ginger

Celery-Apple Juice

  • 5-6 stalks of celery 
  • 1/2 cucumber 
  • 1 Granny Smith apple 
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 1" slice of ginger
