Dave Krohe, chiropractic success storyHi, my name is Dave Krohe. I began chiropractic care due to an increase in pain in my neck region and a lack of range of motion. I began treatment at Chiro One in December of 2006 when the pain became too much for me to function effectively anymore.

Prior to coming to Chiro One, I had been treated by 4 different chiropractors. Each one I used for brief periods of time and had minimal, short term results. For the past three years, I had not visited any chiropractic office, yet continued to be very active and “abuse” my body through my daily routine of training police officers and working as a personal trainer.

As a result of treatment with Dr. Hayes and staff, my pain is down to near 0 and my range of motion in my neck continues to amaze me as to how far it has come. Each day I am closer to becoming pain free with full range of movement and can enjoy my active and strenuous lifestyle.

After gaining more insight into how important proper spine alignment and nervous system functionality is, I decided to have my family examined to see if chiropractic would be beneficial to them as well. Little did I know how much this would lead to a long term relationship with Dr. Hayes and his great staff.

In the months since, my wife, Michelle, my son, Brock, and my daughter, Lia, have begun treatment and the health of my family has improved dramatically. Michele has had hip problems since the birth of our daughter, and her new range of mobility as well as her reduction in pain has been well worth the experience. She now has less pain on a regular basis and is more active. Brock was on his way to a world of pain and minimized function and we didn’t even know it. His first x-rays showed that he had subluxations in his lower spine causing his hips to be out of alignment and also causing damage to his neck causing it to straighten out. Beginning chiropractic at age 7 is going to prevent his condition from getting worse, improve his quality of life, and most likely allow it to heal completely. As a result, our hope is that he won’t have to experience many of the health problems that I’ve encountered in my life. As for Lia, she has been the biggest surprise of all of us. She is only 5, and was not really showing any signs or symptoms. Dr. Hayes began a preventative program for her and after 3 months of treatment, a hidden issue showed up that shocked us all. It turns out that had she not begun treatment now, she most likely would have displayed mild to moderate scoliosis in her teenage years.

As a personal trainer who has spent the majority of my life concerned with making the body better, I can attest that true health comes from not only the APPEARANCE of good health, but also the level of FUNCTIONALITY the body attains. I am very thankful that I trusted the staff at Chiro One with my entire family’s health. The benefits will last a lifetime.
