Ricki Angelus, chiropractic success storyMy name is Ricki Angelus. My first experience with chiropractic was in 1961. Back in those days, a patient had to undress and wear a hospital gown during each session. I was unfamiliar with chiropractic and asked my family physician what he thought of this modality. He stated that chiropractors are “quacks,” and he would drop any patient who went to one. While I was responding well to chiropractic care, I couldn’t risk losing my family physician. As I grew older, I had year round allergies that resulted in chronic fatigue and joint pain. I never knew how my body would react, therefore I was unable to commit to most social situations. I often felt lonely and isolated because I couldn’t participate fully in my life.

I returned to chiropractic care during the summer of 1994, just out of curiosity. I thought I was “well” because I had developed a high level of coping skills regarding my allergies. Within weeks my energy level dramatically increased. I experienced a sense of hope that optimal health was truly possible. I have the potential of living to be 100 years old, and I now know that my future will be filled with the health and energy which a full joyous life requires. I’ve been a patient here for 13 years now, and I always feel welcomed in this office. All the staff members relate in a professional manner. Their friendliness and efficiency create a sense of partnership which facilitates in my body’s healing.
