My name is Anthony Rocha. I was wounded in the back by a piece of shrapnel while serving my country as a U.S. Marine. The injury I sustained left me with two bulging discs that had to be removed which resulted in severe back pain. The pain in my back was the most intense pain that I have ever felt. At its worst, it felt like someone was stabbing me in the back and I couldn’t sleep through the night. I couldn’t do the things I loved to do and I needed pain medication just to get through the day.
