Dr. Lea Carlin
A Vernon Hills Chiropractor, Dr. Lea Carlin was born in New Hampton, Iowa and currently lives in Wheeling, IL. Dr. Lea is proud to serve as the treating Chiropractic Physician of Chiro One Wellness Center of Vernon Hills and she is excited to share the healing power of Chiropractic with the Vernon Hills community. Dr. Lea looks forward to educating and serving families and individuals on discovering their full health potential.
Dr. Lea earned her Bachelors of Arts in Nursing from Luther College in Decorah, IA and worked as a RN in the Surgical/Trauma ICU at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota for 8 years and in the Emergency Department of Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL. Dr. Lea later went on to receive her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.
In her free time, Dr. Lea likes to spend time with family, her dogs, and traveling.
A Vernon Hills Chiropractor, Dr. Lea is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, the American Chiropractic Association, and the Illinois Prairie State Chiropractic Association. Dr. Lea is currently working towards a Pediatric Diplomat from the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, and she is certified in Webster Technique. Dr. Lea is also trained in Diversified, Gonstead, Pettibon, Thompson, Activator, Toggle, and Atlas Orthogonal.
Dr. Lea lives by the credo, “Life is either a daring adventure or nothing,” quoting Helen Keller.
A humanitarian at heart, Dr. Lea traveled to Bequia, a small island in the West Indies to provide chiropractic care to under-served areas during her clinical internship at Palmer College.
