A Joliet Chiropractor, Dr. Andrea Blake, D.C. is originally from Denmark, South Carolina. Blake is now proud to call Joliet home and serves as Chiropractic Director of Chiro One Wellness Center of Joliet. Blake became a Chiropractor because she loves helping people and she wanted to be in a health profession which would help improve, save, and extend lives without drugs or surgery. As a Joliet Chiropractor, Blake believes that "the power that made the body heals the body and that every human being has a divine right to experience optimal health." Blake’s mission is to touch as many lives as possible through chiropractic and wellness care.
Dr. Andrea Blake, D.C. earned her Bachelors of Science, (B.S.) Degree in Physical Education from Newberry College in Newberry, S.C. She also earned an athletic scholarship and played on the Women’s basketball team for Newberry College. She later earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic (D.C.) Degree from Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic in Spartanburg, S.C.
Blake enjoys traveling, music, movies, reading, sports, and spending time with friends and family. She is greatly inspired by the following passage, “For we have this treasure in earthen vessels that the Excellency may be of God and not of us,” quoting 2 Corinthians 4:7.
Blake served on Operation Go Outreach Ministry of Redemption World Outreach Center in Greenville, S.C. from 2003-2004. She also served and provided Chiropractic care in Ghana, West Africa for fourteen months from 2007 through 2008.
