Originally from Appleton, Wisconsin, Anthony James “AJ” Otto, D.C. currently resides in Lansing, Ill. Otto is the Chiropractic Director of Chiro One Wellness Centers of Homer Glen and he looks forward to serving as many people as possible with the healing power of chiropractic treatments.
Otto started his undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and later achieved his bachelor’s degree in science, as well as his doctorate of chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.
Otto’s calling to become a chiropractor was born out of his own personal experience. Injured as a young teen in a car accident, he began seeing a chiropractor. Otto experienced the benefits of chiropractic first hand and was amazed at how with chiropractic care, his body healed and he was able to get his life back without the use of prescription drugs or surgeries.
While in chiropractic school, Otto served as class president for the first 5 out of 10 trimesters. A humanitarian at heart, Otto also served the people of Cochabamba, Boliva on a chiropractic mission trip where he joined a group of volunteers that provided complimentary chiropractic care to villagers while also uniting to offer significant monetary donations to the orphans of the region.
Otto is an avid traveler and an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys a variety of sports and activities, including fishing, hunting and camping with family.
