Dr. Sarah Ghorbanian, D.C. is a Des Plaines Chiropractor who proudly serves as Chiropractic Director of Chiro One Wellness Centers of Des Plaines, IL. Born and raised in Chicago, IL, Ghorbanian is passionate about chiropractic and is dedicated to making the Des Plaines area the healthiest in Chicagoland.
Ghorbanian received her undergraduate degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago where she majored in Biology.
Dr. Sarah Ghorbanian, D.C. later achieved her Doctorate of Chiropractic (D.C.) Degree at National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, IL. Ghorbanian was pre-med in college, but after being introduced to the chiropractic philosophy, was convinced that it was the perfect fit for her beliefs regarding health. As a Des Plaines Chiropractor, Ghorbanian's personal mission is to, "educate the community about natural chiropractic healthcare and to bring optimal health and wellness to the community."
"Lack of symptoms doesn't indicate anything about health. It doesn't mean there is lack of disease," states Ghorbanian. "By the time you get a symptom, it's your body asking you to pay attention as it signals to you that something is wrong! It isn't indicating you have a lack of aspirin or need more soda."
Ghorbanian has seen her own patients be able to play and perform better and longer thanks to chiropractic care and she is particularly passionate about bringing the benefits of chiropractic to musicians, singers, and artists. Ghorbanian has become the "go-to" Chiropractor for many artists and bands that pass through Chicago.
Ghorbanian enjoys yoga, biking, motorcycle riding and traveling and she also volunteers her time and services to the skaters of the Chicago Outfit Roller Derby league.
