A Bloomingdale Chiropractor, Dr. Joannie Connor-Charles, D.C. originally hails from St. Croix, US Virgin Islands and now resides in Oak Brook Terrace, IL. Connor-Charles proudly serves as Chiropractic Director of Chiro One Wellness Center of Bloomingdale and she is passionate about sharing the healing art of chiropractic with her community.
Dr. Joannie Connor-Charles, D.C. pursued undergraduate studies at Bloomfield College in Bloomfield, NJ where she earned her Bachelors of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology. She later received her Doctorate of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree from New York Chiropractic College and is a Certified Nurse.
Connor-Charles became a Chiropractor to make people healthy and happy. Having suffered from migraine headaches since high school, and finding no remedy with medical doctors, Connor-Charles discovered the healing power of chiropractic for herself and hasn’t had a migraine since. Finding hope and healing from her migraines through chiropractic inspired Connor-Charles to become a Chiropractor and it has been her life’s mission since.
A Bloomingdale Chiropractor, Connor-Charles enjoys reading, hiking, traveling and tennis and lives by the credo, “Try not to become a man of success, but a man of value,” quoting Albert Einstein.
Dr. Joannie Connor-Charles, D.C. is the proud recipient of the President of HOSA (Health Occupation Student of America) Distinguished Service Award for 1995-1996 and her charitable efforts include serving as Youth Counselor in Bloomfield, NJ to the Bloomfield Youth Organization.
