An Old Irving Chiropractor, Dr. Simone Washington, D.C. grew up in Country Club Hills, IL where she currently resides. Washington proudly serves as Chiropractic Director of Chiro One Wellness Center of Old Irving and she looks forward to educating and serving the Chicagoland community on discovering their full health potential. Washington feels honored to have the opportunity to provide Chiropractic care to the families of Chiro One of Old Irving.
Dr. Simone Washington, D.C. completed her undergraduate work at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign where she received her Bachelors of Science (B.S.) Degree in Psychology. Washington later attended Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, MO where she obtained her Doctorate of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree.
As a teenager, Washington suffered from a wide variety of health conditions including allergies, depression, and dysmenorrhea. Although she saw value in chiropractic, she was doubtful that chiropractic could specifically help her and it wasn’t until she was a chiropractic student herself that she received her first adjustment. Soon after starting care, her life changed. No longer having a dependency on medications; Washington gained new found freedom and an increased quality of life. As a result of her personal experience, she takes great strides to communicate the value of chiropractic beyond back and neck pain. Washington loves chiropractic and is passionate about sharing its healing capacity with her patients.
A humanitarian at heart, in 2008 Washington traveled with Chiro Mission to Puerto Plata, DR where she helped break record numbers in providing Chiropractic care to thousands of individuals across the Dominican Republic.
Outside of the office, Washington leads the same lifestyle she encourages her patients to lead. A health enthusiast, Washington loves to workout, meditate, and she has a particular interest in raw food cuisine. Washington is also very active within the Old Irving community and enjoys spending time with friends and family.
Washington believes that God created each individual to lead a fulfilled and prosperous life and that no individual should ever give up hope on being totally well.
