Clinical Position


Chiropractic Technician

Career Description and Responsibilities

Position Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with Doctor and their team in achieving goals

  • Scheduling and managing appointments

  • Coordinate/Promote/Execute internal events

  • Host and provide the exceptional patient experience on a daily basis.

  • Excellent verbal, writing and analytical skills

  • Energetic, attractive personality, ambitious with ability to be coached.

  • Must be able to effectively communicate and develop relationships.

  • Must be able to work in a team oriented career environment with emphasis on personal accountability and goal achievement.

  • Must have working knowledge of (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)

  • Must be certified by State in which you work in to take radiographs for patients. If you are not currently certified with the state, training is performed in addition to initial training in a location TBD. You must pay for your own certification.

  • Will perform exams, take films, work directly with patients on a one on one basis.

Description:

The Customer Service Manager is a highly focused and responsible position. The main aim is to provide fantabulous customer service. It will be the responsibility of a customer service manager to ensure that the organization understands and satisfies its customer’s requirements. There are a number of duties and responsibilities which have to be fulfilled such as developing customer service policies and procedure. A Customer service manager’s main aim is to provide fantabulous customer service.

The required skills and specifications of a person desiring to be a customer service manager as follows:

The person needs to be polite and should have the confidence and patience.    The other skills required in a person are the motivational, listening, and problem-solving skills.   He or she should have the ability to produce creative ideas to ameliorate customer service standards.   It will be needed to ameliorate customer service skills.   The person should be able to supervise the teams perfectly.   He or she should have the ability to work under tight deadlines and strict situations.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • A customer service manager has to solve and investigate customer’s long-standing or complex problems.

  • It will be necessary to communicate politely with customers by email, letter, face to face, and telephone and other equipment’s.

  • He or she has to handle entire major incidents related to customers like customer ill health problem or a security issue.

  • He or she has the duty to visit the customers for the provision of one-to-one service.

  • It will be the responsibility to develop complaints or feedback procedures for the use of customers.

  • It will be the duty to maintain the records properly of issuing compensations or refunds to customers.

  • It will be needed to supervise the clinical operations team to learn about the products or services of the organization.

  • He or she needs to follow up-to-date with modifications.

  • It will be the responsibility to provide required training to the staff or employees to deliver excellent customer service.

  • It will be needed to develop the customer service standards, policies and procedures for the organization or department.

  • He or she has the duty to be updated and upgraded with the developments and changes in customer service field.

  • He or she has to read pertinent journals, attending meetings and courses to be aware of the latest things.

  • He or she has to analyze the data or statistics to identify the customer service level, the organization is providing.

AR/Claim Status Specialist

Career Description and Responsibilities

Career Description:

Maintains and manages the accounts receivable for assigned offices to ensure maximum collections.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Submitting electronic insurance claims, reviewing electronic reports for errors and correcting and resubmitting errors

  • Maintaining patient ledgers in Platinum Patient Accounting Software to reflect accurate and current balances

  • Investigating and processing Explanations of Benefits from insurance companies

  • Reviewing accounts receivable reports on a weekly basis and investigating outstanding balances and taking necessary action to facilitate collection of balances due

  • Communicating with other teams within the department to facilitate and/or assist the completion of necessary tasks

  • Communicating with Chiro One offices regarding claim status updates, needed information, etc.

  • Case data entry

  • Maintaining a positive and professional work environment

Position Requirements:

  • 2 years experience in insurance billing related field preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Benefits Coordination Specialist

Career Description and Responsibilities

Career Description:

To maintain daily departmental operations in completing Financial Case Recommendations, case data entry and insurance payment posting.  Most Benefits Coordination Specialists will concentrate on one area but will be cross-trained in others as needed.

Position Responsibilities- Financial Case Recommendations:

  • Completing Excel spreadsheets called Financial Case Recommendations based on the doctors’ recommendations and any applicable insurance benefits

  • Reviewing existing patient files to ensure accurate information

  • Calling insurance companies to pre-certify chiropractic and physical medicine treatment as required by insurance plans

  • Maintaining a positive and professional work environment

Position Responsibilities- Data Entry:

  • Entering patient demographic and insurance information in Platinum Patient Accounting Software

  • Following up with the offices via email for any missing patient information, signatures, etc.

  • Tracking various metrics of all patient cases received and entered on an Excel spreadsheet by office and by month

  • Maintaining and positive and professional work environment

Position Responsibilities- Posting:

  • Auto-posting  and manually posting insurance payments in Platinum patient accounting software to the appropriate patients, dates and line items

  • Reconciling insurance payment posting in Platinum on a daily, weekly and monthly basis

  • Maintaining a positive and professional work environment

Position Requirements:

  • 1 year experience in insurance-related field preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to multi-task

Medical Necessity Specialist

Career Description and Responsibilities

Career Description:

To facilitate the submission of complete medical records to insurance companies for assigned offices.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Creating medical records request documents based on information received from other departments

  • Communicating with doctors and offices to obtain complete records

  • Reviewing records received for completeness and accuracy based on department guidelines and checklist

  • Maintaining an Excel spreadsheet to track all requested information and all records submissions to insurance companies

  • Communicating with members of other departments within Billing

  • Communicating with insurance companies regarding records requests

  • Maintaining a positive and professional work environment

Quality Control Assessor

Career Description and Responsibilities

Description:

The Quality Control Assessor supports Clinical Operations by going out in the field and evaluating COWC standards. This includes, but is not limited to: performing Quality Control Assessments within COWC clinics, opening new clinics and training new staff members, maintaining records on tasks completed, providing input from being out in the field to advance Clinical Operations and company, keeping all Clinical Operations information confidential from any other personnel and assisting in functions and systems created to better and further advance Clinical Operations.

Main areas of responsibility are:

  • Quality Assessment Evaluations:

    • Performs Quality Control Assessments utilizing current forms and procedures within COWC clinics.

    • Keeps current on all COWC clinical protocols.

    • Maintains records around Quality Control Assessments.

    • Evaluates potential issues regarding legality, billing and/or professionalism while keeping detailed   reports.

    • Continues education and training as needed to mentor Chiropractic Technician staff.

    • Serves as a resource for clinical staff on Chiro One protocols.

  • Clinic Openings:

    • Performs clinic openings utilizing current forms and procedures.

    • Reports any issues that may prevent clinic opening in a timely manner.

    • Trains new staff members on most current COWC protocols and procedures.

  • General Clinical Operations Support:

    • Maintains and completes spreadsheets for Clinical Operations as necessary.

    • Continues to become more proficient in department’s processes and takes on tasks as needed.

    • Serves as a resource to clinical staff and redirects them as needed such that they may receive optimal service from Clinical Operations.

    • Collaborates with Clinical Operations personnel, as well as with other departments to resolve and create solutions to current issues.

    • Assists in creating protocols and procedures, as well as scripting, for clinical staff as needed.

    • Audits and collects data as needed for project matters.

    • Accumulates information to be assessed for changes that may need to be made.

    • Maintains a team player attitude and assists department as needed, such as when other coworkers may be out of the office.

    • Assists in all tasks/projects requested for Clinical Operations advancement and maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Clinical experience and proficiency in COWC protocol.

  • Reliable transportation.

  • Available to travel to all COWC markets for all Quality Control Assessor duties.

  • A driver’s license kept current at all times.

  • Objective demeanor and avoidance of any favoritism practices.

  • Organizational skills and proficiency in documenting.

  • Excellent writing skills and rhetoric.

Business Development Account Manager

Career Description and Responsibilities

Identifies, pursues, and secures new business for Chiro One Wellness Centers through professional, consultative, proactive sales activities directed at decision-makers and decision influencers to support the vision and mission of the enterprise.

Communicates with new and existing clients on an ongoing basis to establish and maintain strong working relationships. Negotiates terms of business with client. This position has a key role in generating leads, opening doors and securing appointments with decision makers, calling on potential new accounts as well as growing existing business and corporate relationships.

Position Responsibilities
:

  • Responsible for the identification, negotiation, and analysis of new business opportunities for the Chiro One Wellness Centers.

  • Organically grows existing business and client relationships.

  • Responsible to meet specific key metrics as follows:

  • Generate a minimum of 75 external marketing events per month.

  • Develops and implements plans and strategies for the development of new business opportunities, increasing market share and brand awareness for Chiro One.

  • Provides the experience necessary to plan, organize, and successfully negotiate and structure new business proposals

  • Oversees the implementation and follow-up on business agreements

  • Communicates the progress toward business development milestones to the DBD.

  • Attends meetings and conducts presentations to effectively describe and promote capabilities and determine customer needs

  • Collaborates with internal departments in the development and implementation of strategies, plans, and business models

  • Seeks out and researches potential clients and project opportunities through various sources including the utilization of the Internet, print materials, trade journals etc.

  • Creates, manages and edits preliminary responses as well as final proposals and presentations

  • Provides input to the management team on new product or service features to be developed to meet current and future customer needs

  • Demonstrates effective expense control in performance of duties consistent with or exceeding corporate guidelines

Requirements:
