Chiro One Wellness Centers have been serving the Midwest since 1992. They were founded for the sole purpose of educating, treating and coaching families and individuals in how to lead an extraordinary life of health and wellness.

Executive Team

	Chief Executive Officer – Dr. Stuart Bernsen Dr. Stuart Bernsen, CEO of Chiro One Wellness Centers has led the explosive growth of the fastest growing chiropractic physician’s group in the country. In less than three years through mergers, acquisitions and organic growth, this start-up company has grown to over $150 million in gross services. With 40 clinics throughout IL and KY with expansion underway for an additional 10 clinics by 2010; he has positioned Chiro One Wellness Centers to be one of the largest wellness organizations in the world. A published author (“World’s Greatest Health Secrets Revealed”), extension faculty member of three graduate schools, and 2007 International Chiropractor of the Year, Dr. Bernsen is one of our nation’s preeminent visionaries in the field of health and wellness.
	Chief Operating Officer – Dr. Sam Wang Dr. Wang attended The University of Iowa where he initially intended to pursue a career in medicine. During his second year in school he suffered a personal injury due to a motor vehicle accident which led him to discovery chiropractic. After completion of his Bachelor’s of Science degree, Dr. Wang attended the prestigious Sherman College of Chiropractic located in Spartanburg, SC where he received his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree with honors. Dr. Wang continued to further his training by attaining multiple board certifications in different techniques and specialties. He holds board certifications as an atlas orthogonist, as well as an independent medical examiner. Dr. Wang is a member with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, International Chiropractic Association, Illinois Chiropractic Society and Naperville School Dist. #203 Medical Advisory board. He is a founding partner of Chiro One Wellness Centers.
	Chief Marketing Officer – Brett Penager As a founding partner and Chief Marketing Officer of Chiro One Wellness Centers, Brett Penager has been responsible for building the greatest Chiropractic Marketing team in history which provides over 25,000 people a year the opportunity to choose extraordinary wellness. Upon graduating from UW-Madison, he has had an accomplished career as World Class coach, Businessman and Marketing Maestro. A Nationally renowned Speaker and educator, he’s also the author of the best selling “USA Wrestling’s Coaches Guide to Excellence.”
	Director of Marketing – Dr. Gary Roeben Originally from the shores of New Jersey, Dr. Gary Roeben graduated Magna Cum Laude from Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic and additionally became a Board Certified Atlas Orthogonist. As the Director of Marketing, Dr. Roeben is a renowned speaker and health educator, spreading the message of Health and Wellness to school districts, businesses and organizations throughout Greater Chicago. He is a founding partner of Chiro One Wellness Centers.
	Director of Clinic Operations – Dr. Mark Lagerkvist Having achieved excellence as an elite athlete, Chiropractor and businessman, Dr. Mark Lagerkvist is committed to others success. A Palmer University graduate, he serves as the Director of Clinic Operations of Chiro One Wellness Centers. Having built one of the largest private practices in the world, he is a published author (“Chicken Soup for the Chiropractic Soul”, “World’s Greatest Health Secrets Revealed”) and founding partner of COWC.
	Chief Learning Officer – Dr. Brian Rutecki Earning his undergraduate degree from Penn State University, Dr. Brian Rutecki went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude from Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic and received his Doctorate of Chiropractic in addition to becoming a Board Certified Atlas Orthogonist. Dr. Rutecki is a leader in the field of wellness education and as a Clinic Director went from 0 to 500pv/wk in only 17 weeks! As a result, he is the recipient of numerous achievement awards. He is a founding partner of Chiro One Wellness Centers.
	Director of Success and Satisfaction – Van Carrigan For over 50 years Van Carrigan has dedicated his life to mentoring people and businesses to extraordinary success and satisfaction. Known as the Father of Chiro One Wellness Centers, he is a master at assisting others to achieve ‘results rather than reasons’ and a ‘remover of obstacles’. As the Director of Success and Satisfaction, he is a life member of the Million Dollar Round Table and The American Society of Pension Actuaries. He is a founding partner of Chiro One Wellness Centers.
